Few months back so many 5800 and N97 users complained "5530 has kinetic scrolling. Certain functions will take long time to load. But the problem is, it'll be pretty slower than that is with 3G. With EDGE you can visit Facebook without any problem I suppose. Width has been reduced by almost 3 mm and thickness has been deducted by 2.5 mm.! I personally don't want extra 7mm X 3 mm X 2.5 mm capacity increase in my mobile just to increase it's screen by 0.3 inches.! That's ridiculous.Īccessing facebook wouldn't be a problem even without 3G. Because when 5530 reduces it's screen size by just 0.3" compared to 5800, the length reduction is 7 mm. I really can't complain 2.9" is not enough. Specially when I find thin, little phones sexier than thick brick size ones. Myself, I don't really see such big difference between 2.9" and 3.2". But only if your area is covered by a 3G network. 3G internet speed is really faster than GPRS. In Rural areas we have to rely upon GPRS always.
But here in Sri Lanka, We only get 3G in Urban areas. (Faster than GPRS or EDGE) However 3G coverage is something you don't get everywhere. It's actually a fast internet connection type. But you know what? haha! now I'm getting really confused.
